Railway sleepers are an important component of track systems, which can be manufactured by timber, concrete, steel and any other engineered materials. They serve as rail supports transfer loads from trains to substructures systems. In railway networks worldwide, prestressed concrete more common than material types because their cost-efficacy, environmental friendliness, higher stability performance, durability. However, certain damage still appear due diverse load spectra aggressive conditions. The causes cracking observed in usually induced impact loads. most affected sections at the midspan rail-seat area sleepers. Over a long term, time-dependent actions also affect structural performance This paper intends determine crack phenomena under static Nonlinear finite element method (FEM) has been developed validated full-scale experimental tests accordance with EN13230. this study, equivalent losses prestress result resultant behaviours considered. Their influences on initiation propagation have demonstrated. results exhibit that simulation accurately predict behaviour insight is critically essential rating prediction, appropriately estimate remaining life aged exposed actions.
